Long overdue gratitude to Miss Maria.  Amazing communication and wonderfully rich play space.  My 2YO son was shy, clingy, and uncomfortable in new settings, but Miss Maria was so gentle, thoughtful, and loving towards him as he transitioned from being at home with us part time to full days at the daycare.  She doesn't close her daycore for extended holidays or Juneteeth which is helpful for working parents.  All the kids are sweet and happy when I pick up or drop off.  Also my son loves her food, so I don't have to worry about snacks or lunches! 

Miss Maria's daycare was great for our family.  Our son was about 2 years old when he started at her daycare.  We switched him from a larger corporate owned daycare center after experiencing the onset of some behavioral issues he picked up there.  Maria worked closely with him and kept us in the loop in order to correct his behavior, and managed to resolve it in 2 weeks!  Maria provided plenty of guidance and attention to him, and we watched him grow tremendously under her care, My son loved playing there everyday and she has so much to keep the kids busy.  I highly recommend her for anyone looking for a great experience for their 2-3 year old. 

We had the privilege of both of our daughters getting to grow up with Maria.  She provides a warm, nurturing, and loving environment with fun and structure, as well. She was always very communicative and supportive of us as parents throughout all stages with our girls.  The food she provided was always a hit too.  We knew our girls were in great hands with Maria, which is such a gift.  We would recommend Maria's to anyone looking for a daycare - we feel so lucky that we got to have our girls with her! 

We have sent both of our daughters to Maria's daycare.  One is now 6, and the other (who is currently attending) is 1.  Our older daughter thrived with the social interaction and care that she received during her 2 years at Mariai's, and she is now doing great in 1st grade.  

Both of our extended families are on the opposite coast, so Maria has been an integral part of our lives.  We trusted her to care for our 4 month old infant in the middle of the pandemic, while we were otherwise social-distancing from the rest of the world.  Maria continued to be a very safe, responsible, caring, and communicative caregiver.  Both our girls have also enjoyed her healthy cooking.  We recommend Maria highly! 

My now 7-year old son and 5-year old daughter used to call Maria "Ya Ya," when she cared for them.  Maria is such a kind, nurturing, and loving person.  I appreciated the security in knowing that Maria would care for, love, and tend to our kiddos like they were her own.  Maria's home provided enriching opportunities to develop foundational skills related to emotional and social development.  She showered our kids with kindness, compassion, and enough safety for them to begin learning how to make sense of their world.  Her cooking was absolutely phenomenal.  Maria was gracious enough to share her recipes with me as I was always so astonished to hear that the kids consistently finished their plates while at daycare.  To my bittersweet dismay, even with her recipe, the kids still preferred her cooking over mine.  Can't win em all apparently.  We continued to keep in touch with Maria to this day because of the significance that she has had on all of our lives.  We are very grateful to have found her.  We could not recommend a more trusting caregiver. 

Maria has watched my daughter from the age of 8 weeks.  I love that my daughter has been in a home instead of a completely sterile and commercial building.  When my daughter got older, Maria started making her lunches and they were healthy and warm.  I'm not the healthiest of eaters but my daughter lies healthy foods because of Maria's influence.  She's so kind and patient and I love knowing that my girl is in good hands while I'm unable to be with her! 

Maria is wonderful.  She is kind, she tunes in to each child's development and feelings, and she creates a nurturing environment.  I never once worried about my children when they were in her care, and that is priceless.
