Our Director

Miss Maria is highly qualified with over 29 years of experience providing childcare. She is also the proud mother of three successful grown children.  Her patience and understanding are what makes it easy for her to communicate and interact with children.

Qualifications:

• Currently holding an Associate Teacher Certificate in Early Childhood Education, which prepares students to become teachers and caregivers in various ECE settings. Learners gain the foundational knowledge and skills to guide children’s social, cognitive, emotional, physical and intellectual development, typically focusing on children from birth to 8 years of age.

• Graduate of Contra Costa County's Quality Matters Program.  This certification recognizes programs that are designed around measurable learning objectives or competencies. 

• CPR/First Aid Certified

• Health and Safety Certified

• TB Cleared 

• Fire Safety Certification through the Contra Costa County Fire Department.
